| Abstract: |
| The stability of formaldehyde donors was determined by measuring the amount of free formaldehyde in equilibrium with formaldehyde donors in water and personal care formulas. According to the current regulation of the European Commission on cosmetic preservatives, it could be concluded that formaldehyde donors were safe as cosmetic preservatives. |
