| Abstract: |
| The physiologic theories related to skin moisturization have been reviewed, including the water content at each layer of the skin and those structures and compositions that play key roles in moisturization. The solutions of moisturization for different skin types were also proposed, such as supplying the stratum corneum barrier with exogenous components, rapid moisturization structurally or functionally, and target moisturization according to the mechanism of formation of stratum corneum barrier. |
