| With the rapid increase of drug resistant strains，developing new antimicrobial agents has become a tread. Amino acidbased
surfactant is a kind of promising antimicrobial agents, for which renewable raw materials can make preparation. It describes
how the structural characteristics of amino acid-based surfactants affects antibacterial activity, which is summarized according to the
polarity of the amino acid type of the single, double chain, as well as the Gemini surfactants. It also summarizes the synthesis methods,
antibacterial properties acid-basic physical-chemical properties of amino acid-based surfactants. |
